Great North Builder's Supplies, is operated by MDC Supply GP, a division of Mushkegowuk Regional Economic Development LP. The business model is based on a strategic approach including regional business initiatives, addressing economic leakages, and working in collaboration with communities.

MDC is vertically integrated and focused on four business sectors: Real Estate, Supply and Distribution of Goods, Project Management and Investments.

Mushkegowuk Development Corporation sees positive indicators of business growth and value created for the all Partners of the Limited Partnership. It has a passionate Board of Directors that provides strategic direction, in-depth business acumen and expertise. Mushkegowuk communities are represented on the Board.

In 2019, MDC purchased, and in 2020 reopened, Great North Builder's Supplies, a building materials and hardware retail operation. Virtually anything our customers need can be sourced through this existing supply network.
